La vie humaine de Gyro
Gyro a grandi dans un chantier de construction ; il a appris à mélanger le béton et à poser des briques avant même d'avoir appris à parler. Le père réticent de Jayro ressemblait à un dieu pour lui, bien qu'il passe ses journées dans une brume ivre tout en imposant des conditions strictes au garçon - le battant au moindre ennui ou impulsion. Son père s'était fait marteler, comme d'habitude. De plus, le garçon a dit à Jayro que son père avait dit qu'il se fichait de savoir si Jayro vivait ou mourait. Le père de Jayro est alors passé devant les deux, a regardé dans l'autre sens et s'est éloigné de la scène. Jayro comprit alors que sa vie est insignifiante pour l'univers dans son ensemble : il n'était personne. Ce fut cette révélation, en plus d'apprendre la dure vérité sur son père et sa "leçon" étant un mensonge complet, Jayro finit par craquer. Peu de temps après, Jayro a pris un marteau, a brisé le crâne de son père ivre, a pris tout son argent et a quitté le camp. À un moment donné, peut-être après avoir tué son père et quitté le camp, Jayro a développé le médicament D2.Le but de cette drogue était de répandre le mal et de ruiner la vie des autres, étant maintenant venu à haïr complètement l'humanité dans son ensemble
